February Foodie Penpal

Yes, I said FOODIE PENPAL!!!!

On Valentine’s Day I received a package in the mail, no, not from my valentine. But from Christina my Foodie Penpal @ Food.Fitness.Fun.

Question: What is a foodie penpal?

Answer: Someone who sends you a package in the mail full of food items they want to share or introduce to you.

A look at the box of goodies I received (minus bag of cheese pops):

Everything out of the box:

I quickly opened the STARBUCKS Hot Chocolate and made some:

Delish!

Then I examined the box further:

The Taste of Nature bar was awesome.  I have yet to eat the HALO S’mores bar (looks like heaven) and the KIND plus bar. (saving them for a special occasion – or after a GOOD workout).

A few days later, Lilly and I tried the Neal Brothers Organic Cheese Pops!

Lilly and I agree – these are a winner.

We just have to locate them in a store around here 🙂

The Chai Spiced Black tea was great and Lilly loved the rice crackers.

There was a nice little note from Christina but I took a bad picture of it 😦

If you want to see what I sent to my foodie penpal you’ll have to go check her blog;  Lisa @ J(and)Me – Cooking Jamie

I am going to do this again in March – so check back at the end of the month to see what I received from my new foodie penpal.

Oh – AND if you want to try it out, check out the details below!
