Whoop Whoop! A review and a giveaway for YOU!!!
At the beginning of September I had an opportunity to connect with Jenny from MetamorFit through Fit Approach on Facebook as Sweat Pink Ambassadors. She recently joined forces with My Race Ragz; a pretty cool company that allows you to design your own running shirts.
My experience:
I have to say it was pretty easy to design the shirt …. once you chose the design you wanted!
There website is super easy to use and figure out how to design your shirt. They have over 700 designs you can choose from but have it set up in categories so you can easily find a theme and look for the best design that suits you. Categories like: 5k, 13.1, Bike, Grandparents, Kids, Maternity, Love to Run, Men/Women, Ultra etc.
They give you a lot of choices when designing your shirt: shirt style (long, short, v-neck); different fonts, colours and framing around your chosen design; all on a white moisture wicking shirt.
A few examples of designs:

After looking through all the designs, I finally chose one that felt close to home:
Front: I chose “This is how I Roll” with a few extra flowers around the outside. These days I don’t get to run on my own very often and usually have baby Hilary in our jogging stroller. I thought it was fitting.
Back: I got “Piper’s Run” as I wanted to share my blog name with people. I really should have added the URL to my blog but I just wasn’t sure at the time of order.
I’m really hoping the weather is nice this weekend as I’m running a 5k at the Valley Harvest Marathon. It would be awesome to wear this shirt!
The shirt arrived in pretty good time considering I live in Canada and it had to go through customs etc. When I opened the package I fell in love with it right away. The fabric was nice and soft, the graphics are awesome, the colours are pretty vibrant and it felt really good on. So good that I could have worn it all day.
Their sizing is spot-on! After having two children you never know what size you’ll be and I didn’t want to have something that was too small or too big.
I chose the v-neck style as I don’t like anything up around my neck when running. It will be awesome in the spring/summer/fall here in Nova Scotia but I could also wear it under a long-sleeved shirt and jacket in the winter time. Yeah, I like to run in the winter 🙂 I plan on wearing it when I workout at home too… it’s not just for running.
Overall, I really love this shirt. It such a fun way to express who you are and what you do through running (biking, triathlon etc). I would totally recommend designing your own shirt and wearing it for running, walking, biking, at the gym etc.

I like my design to be in a long sleeves shirt for my races this fall. It’s getting chilly here in the Midwest so this one would be perfect! 🙂
I love the “Crazy” and the “I run on days that end in Y”. 🙂
Both good choices!
I like the “run” design.
