Christmas with a 3 and 1 year old!

Christmas is starting to feel different again, in a good way. With a 3-year-old and 1-year-old, the excitement of Santa’s arrival stirring and lots of questions are being asked. When does Santa come? Did he come last night? It can make for some funny conversations.

This is what Christmas looked like in our house:

Christmas 2 2013 girls together

It took 4 shots to get one good picture of the girls together!

We opened presents, played for a bit, spent a few hours making our Christmas dinner (WIAW to come) and a little family walk on such a beautiful Christmas Day!

It’s now time to recycle wrapping paper, put away gift bags for next year and take down the decorations before we celebrate New Year’s!

PS – Next year – no noisy toys allowed πŸ˜‰

Have you finished all your Christmas events?

When do you pack up decorations?

    • It’s nice to have it up for a while. We don’t have a real one this year 😦 so I’m fine with taking our little one down in the next few days. It’s all about timing, eh!

  1. After five days of Christmas with my in-laws I think we’re pretty much done. Our tree will probably be up till the 10th, which is when the council comes around and collects them for free (we have a live one). If I can’t convince my husband that we should just keep it undecorated as a house plant. I feel so guilty about just chucking them out.
