It’s time to change-up the workout on THE BEAST. I love running and do a lot on the treadmill. I know, I know…some people think that’s bad but you know what……it’s the one way I can get my kilometers in. Either that or I don’t get to run…so I chose the treadmill…oh, I mean “the beast”.
I have a tone of workouts on my “Workouts to try” board on Pinterest and am testing a few of them out. This one is on tap tonight as I’m on the road and staying in a hotel. Yup, Mommy’s first over-night away from both girls and Daddy’s got them – good luck Saï ….. said with love, xo.

I will admit to never having run on the treadmill. It scares the bejesus out of me. Too many buttons…
I run on the treadmill to avoid impact… i also run trails to avoid the impact.
this would be a nice way to break up 5mi… (is that how your interpret repeat 4x?… that’s how I do….)
I love workouts like this… I have a whole folder on my phone for them so I can do one anywhere 🙂
Unfortunately I’ve done the bulk of my training on the treadmill this cycle and it’s really starting to wear on me. I’m going to try a circuit like this to mix things up!
I love my treadmill! I combine workouts all the time, it’s the best!
I lately have been combining some treadmill work outs with strength training. It definitely adds a new element of challenge!
I don’t run on the treadmill unless I can’t avoid it. So I don’t have much experience, but I will occasionally add in some pushups, crunches, etc. with my outdoor runs.
I don’t love the treadmill but I really appreciate it. It allows me to get in runs when the weather or area doesn’t allow me to run outdoors. I’ll admit I don’t mix my treadmill with other exercises in the same workout, but I’m sure it’s a darn good workout.
YUP! Treadmill was my life saver during the brutal cold winter polar vortex days. If it wasn’t for treadmill, I will not get anything done! Thank you treadmill! 🙂
Haha yeah I need to mix things up on the treadmill. Breaking it up by combining with other workouts helps. So does playing with speed.
