I can genuinely say that I love to run. However, I didn’t always feel that way.
Like when I was 14 years old and training for soccer. Running, doing Fartlek training and then being tested. I probably hated it because I was being tested. I even hated drinking water back then too but would drink it because I knew I needed it. I now love drinking water….it’s all I drink, for the most part 😉
I love running on a cool fall day, on the snow covered ground, with rain falling on my face in the spring. I love how I feel after a hard run on a hot summer’s day. I also love that I have the opportunity to run on a treadmill.
I recently saw this video thanks to an awesome Canadian Running Blogger group I belong to and just had to share it.
Do you LOVE to run?
Or is Running something you just do?
If not running, what do you LOVE to do?

Thank you for sharing this video. I really needed it. I’ve been feeling down about running lately due to injuries and feeling discouraged about the goal I made to run a marathon at the end of May. This reminded of why I started running in the first place — just for the pure fun/beauty of it.
Glad this was a little motivation for you. It’s hard when you can’t do the one thing you enjoy doing. You’ll get there and it will be a great experience.
Yes thanks for sharing! This is a great running video and really inspires you to get out and run, run, run.
Reblogged this on SIMPLE RUNNER and commented:
A great video clip for motivated runners!
I have a good love/hate relationship with running 🙂 Most of us do though, right?
Yes! I find during those hard runs…I don’t love it but when I’m done that hard run…I love it! 🙂
Sometimes I love running and sometimes it’s miserable but in the end I would say that I love it. And I definitely love how empowering it is to reach my running goals.
I feel the same way 🙂
I totally love it. Getting the miles in is the highlight of my day!
Your comment made me smile. Happy running!
It took me a long time to fall in love with running, but now I can genuinely say I do. I love the feeling in my legs and it’s so easy to let your mind wander to a happy place! I also really love being the water because it brings me back to being a kid and thinking I was a mermaid! haha
It took me a long time to fall in love with running to but I am sure glad I have!
Yes, I remember in soccer practice that if we screwed up, we had to run. It was a punishment. But man, do I love it now!
Oh yeah!!! Never screw up!!!
What a great video! Thanks for sharing it. I love running even when I don’t love running, if that makes any sense?!
Makes total sense!
