Okay, so there are only two months left of 2014…how are you going to spend them? Hiding inside while it get’s colder? Thinking about Christmas shopping? Eating lots of good and bad food over the holidays? Then thinking about your New Year’s resolutions?
For some reason I usually start to implement changes in the fall versus January 1st. I don’t know if I want the head start or to try and make it a habit than a resolution in the new year. As of now, I have no thoughts on resolutions or what I want to do in 2015 but I’m sure those thoughts aren’t too far off.
For now, I will concentrate on my November Goals:
1 – Run. Really, I think this is a given 😉
2 – Try a new workout each week and post it on the blog. Since I kinda suck at at monthly challenges, I figured if I can do a new one each week I wouldn’t get too distracted. We’ll see.
3 – Time with my husband. We’ve got an anniversary coming up, so why not hang out 😉
4 – Take the girls outside. Don’t be afraid to play in the cold weather, bundle up!
5 – Declutter the house. I’m pretty sure this was one of my goals last winter or spring even. I failed at this as my running increased.
6 – Make better meals for my family. I’m tired of the same meals we eat so it’s time to get creative. Oh and by creative I mean start using all the cookbooks in my house, like Oh She Glows, and the million pictures I’ve pinned on Pinterest.
That’s it. Six goals for the month of November.
Any goals you are working on this month?
November – hide away inside or attempt to be outside more?
How often do you declutter?
Sounds like a great set of goals. I’ve started decluttering as well, trying to chose one space each month. Last month I did 3 junk drawers, LOL!
I love this. I always try to get focused health wise this time of year. Stay healthy and eat well and then you don’t feel so guilty come holiday meals. Great goals and happy upcoming anniversary!
Awesome goals, Anna! My November goal is to get back into my routine. I totally fell off the wagon in October when the days started getting shorter! I always find it so hard to get up and work out when it’s still dark outside!!
I would love to declutter my entire house once really good and then only have to work at it a bit every 6 months or so. I tackle a closet, become overwhelmed and end up shoving 3/4 of the stuff back in the closet.
I think I have some of the same goals. I spent some time on pinterest this weekend and I have huge plans to make good things but I think I will probably be lucky to make at least one of these meals. But one is better than none! Good luck with your goals for the month.
These are the type of goals that people should be making–some for you, some for your family, but all about being happy and healthy!
I try to balance it all out between my family. There was one month I had a goal for the BOTH girls to sleep all night but they didn’t get the memo 😉
