Holy poop! We’re getting some big storm today! They are calling for 45+cm of snow where I live, some parts of Nova Scotia are getting snow and rain/freezing rain (Halifax) – let’s just say it’s going to be bad out there the next few days!
This is how one dresses when going out in a Blizzard!

Bundled up – round 2 – Yes, that’s my Maritime Race Weekend BUFF – so thankful for that!
Up to my hips!
Can’t see our basement windows anymore!
Can easily walk out of the house now!
The wind has picked up and is totally freaking me out! Not cool being home alone during a snow storm!
Yup – the girls are with their Grandparents this weekend!

YIKES. You’re reminding me to be thankful that we only got an inch or 2 of snow last night. The windchill is bad for the mid-Atlantic (real feel below 0), but at least the windchill doesn’t require shoveling to go anywhere 🙂

It’s such a crazy storm! Nova Scotia (not to mention PEI and NB) are going to be in bad condition the next few days!
Oh my goodness! Is this winter worse for you than normal? We don’t have any snow right now in my part of the Midwest
It’s the most snow we’ve had in a number of years (over 7 at least). Most of it has fallen in the last three weeks which isn’t normal. The worse part is the amount we get all at once!

It was nice to have a day by myself but now I’m bored and missing my girls (and husband too). The storm stopped but we are expecting another 5 cm tonight. OMG!!!!
I think of I ever get round to moving to Canada I may have a holiday home still over here for the winter. That snow looks like the stuff my Gran used to tell me about but nowadays we only get a centimeter or three….scarey stuff!

Luckily we have a wood stove so we’re good on staying warm 🙂 We still are plowed out yet so not sure when I’ll get out of my driveway 😉
ha ha that was Alberta last year. We’ve barely had any snow (which I am very thankful) so far this year. Stay dry!

I’m jealous of the snow! We have absolutely frigid temps in Toronto but no new snowfall in at least a week 😦 I hope we get some more before winter is over 🙂

I don’t know. You through it up over a snow bank and it falls down on you 😦 It’s getting dangerous driving because of the snow banks!

It’s been crazy intense in such a short period of time! Oh my upper body and abs are getting a wicked workout – forgot I had oblique abs until all this shoveling 🙂
