Biking, Curriculum and Running

I’m still here! Just took a few days off from blogging, no reason at all other then I just needed some down time and it’s been a busy week.

Monday night I managed to get in a 16k bike ride……..

Tuesday, Lilly’s school {yeah, she started school this year} had curriculum night. So Sai and I went and learned about what she is doing in class and how they are meeting their curriculum outcomes. It was a date night 😉

Wednesday I rode my bike for 13k (50 minutes). Sai bought me a light for my bike which is coming in handy as it’s getting darker earlier. Man, my legs do not like biking but I sure do. Or maybe I’m just working them too hard since I can’t run. Either way, this bike riding gig is kinda fun…minus the bugs in the face.

Today, I had another physio appointment and was told to increase my running distance: start with 7k and if my foot was good to run 10k on the weekend. The hamstring is feeling really great. My 10k race {Pace Bunny for the 1:10} is still on the table as is my PEI Half Marathon Oct 18th…. fingers crossed I’m good to go!

I’m planning on running tonight on the treadmill or maybe I’ll clean the bath tubs? It’s a toss-up!
