Nuunin’ It Up Again

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you’ll already know what I’m talking about. For another year, I going to be apart of Team Nuun again!

Wannabe Cyclist

In other news, I bought a insider trainer tire for my bike!!!!!! Yup, that means I’ll be spinning on my husband’s bike trainer when he’s not this winter 🙂 I’ve been wanting to get one since last winter but finally did this week.

Now, I just have to learn (ask my husband to do it) how to put this tire on my wheel and bike and I’m good to go. I’m your typical newby cyclist…wannabe cyclist. You know that person that wants to ride more but just doesn’t push the envelope!

I need to get more confident on the road with cars and eventually buy a proper road bike as mine is more for trails. I’m okay starting off where I am but some day I’d love to to a ride/event with my husband. I even have one in mind!

Eventually, you’ll start seeing some more pictures of my pushing the peddles which will be nice since I’m limited to 2 days of running per week at the moment.

What’s your favourite Nuun flavour?

Are you a brand ambassador for a product? If so, which one?

Best tips for an indoor trainer newby???

I don’t always post on my blog but you can find some kind of an update on Instagram ; Facebook ; Twitter  or Pinterest

  1. I love that you’ll be using the bike trainer! Switching tires isn’t hard. If I can do it, anyone can. It just seems scary. My advice is make sure you’ve got a comfortable seat, a towel to keep the sweat off your bike and good tunes or a television. I get bored unless I’m watching tv or rock’n out. There’s good workout DVDs too. I’ve done a few but usually opt for Ellen or Live with Kelly. I’ve tried Nuun and like it. If I ever get into real injury free training again I may get serious about hydration.

  2. I agree with Angie and was going to suggest some form of activity. I had a trainer and ended up selling it because I HATED it. It was just very boring. But my other half loves it.
I just learned about an app (will have to get back to you on the name) that makes the trainer experience almost more like a video game. It sounded like it had potential.

  3. I’m also a cyclist wannabe 😉 I don’t have an indoor trainer, though, and have ZERO interest in going to the gym LOL I did try a spinning class once…it was fun, but I was such a newbie, it was challenging in figuring out how to operate all the gadgets on the bike.

  4. It might have to do with me mentioning you in my application, because you brought a new ambassador to the team they allowed you to have a second year? I’m glad many of our “running family” are also ambassadors!
