It’s been two weeks since I’ve done a weekly wrap up only because I didn’t have time to blog it out! A little running outdoors, cycling, yoga and some good ski days in there! The last two weeks went a little like this!
Feb 12th – 18th:
- Monday: Cycling 20km, PT and plank.
- Tuesday: Yoga Flow Class, PT and plank.
- Wednesday: Rest Day (PT and plank).
- Thursday: Cycling 22km, PT and plank.
- Friday: 5k Outdoor Run, PT and plank.
- Saturday: Rest Day (PT and plank).
- Sunday: Indoor Cycling (PT and plank).
February 19th – 26th:
- Monday: Skiing all day with my girls! It was so busy with it being a holiday here but it was still great skiing! Plank and PT.
- Tuesday: Yoga Flow class at lunch. So good! Plank and PT.
- Wednesday: Rest Day but yes…plank and PT.
- Thursday: Rest Day…again, plank and PT.
- Friday: 1 hour of skiing at lunch, PT and plank.
- Saturday: Rest day….a.k.k. Costco plus visiting some family and Plank.
- Sunday: 7k trail run with Carmacks, PT and plank.
Right now, it’s all about the variety in my workouts! There is no consistency and I’m totally fine with that! We have very little snow (on the hills) but skiing is still pretty darn sweet. Yesterday’s run on the trail with Carmacks was great!
Also, if you missed my February Runfessions….because I didn’t post it on Friday – you can check it out here!
How was your weekend/week?
Are you training for anything?
Are you all about variety in your workouts or focusing on one thing?
I don’t always post on here but you can find me posting daily over at Instagram.
I’m linking up with Holly and Wendy for the Weekly Wrap today.
Awesome week of workouts – loving the variety!
I haven’t gone skiing in many years but I really liked it when I did it. I also love snow tubing!
You’ll have to get back to skiing one day soon! Snow tubing is a blast !
I’m all about variety, but you probably know that LOL I think it’s good for the body to do more than just one thing over and over. That’s great you and the girls do so much skiing!
It’s a important do move in different ways!
I just love all the skiing that you do! We don’t get much snow here, at least consistently, so skiing is kind of a crapshoot.
This winter had been crappy for snow here but the hill was pumping it out (making snow) and so far they are still going strong!
Yes I am all about variety in my workouts as well. Keeps me interested and injury free. Looks like a great week. Love the ski photos!
You sure do a lot of great workouts! !!
Way to be consistent on the PT and planks! I have now done some yoga on back to back days… does that count? 😀
That totally counts!!!! Hope all is well with you and E!
You got some great workouts done. And you are so faithful to your planks.
I have a half on March 17 but our weather is making it difficult to train.
I’m so done with planking every day! The only thing getting me through it, is that I’m almost done.
I get it. At least you are doing it.
Great week!
I am training for two 15Ks and a half marathon. After that, who knows?
I am loving variety, and it’s good for my body, so I am definitely sticking with it!
Love all your skiing pictures!
Lots of races ahead of you, awesome!
I have been seeing many people post pics of their skiing this winter. As fun as it looks, I have a hard time wanting to do it again. I am afraid that I would hurt myself and then I wouldn’t be able to run for a long time.
You can get hurt doing anything! Sometimes when I’m skiing I worried that I’ll get hurt but after 35 years of skiing, I just keep going as I love it too much to stop.
You have no snow! lol Have a great week.
Barely any snow here actually…..only at the local hill. Hope you have a great week!
Isn’t it nice sometimes to NOT have a schedule of workouts and just be able to do what we want! 🙂 I’m jealous of your skiing pictures. That looks like so much fun! I haven’t skiied in YEARS – probably 20!
Skiing is one sport I can’t give up and love that I can do it with my family.
Wooo you’ve been busy girl!! That skiing sure looks like fun! I bet that’s an intense workout just on its own!
Skiing is a great workout – my quads usually hate it after a while, ha ha!
Sounds like a great week! I can’t wait til my girls are old enough to ski with me!
I love skiing with my girls! It’s so much fun watching them!
I’m very jealous of your snow skiing. It doesn’t look like we are going to make it to the slopes this year as planned. I think it’s good to mix it up. And, I’m so impressed with your daily plank and PT dedication. Thanks for linking!
Bummer that you won’t make it skiing this year! We’ve managed to get up quite a bit though we don’t have a tone of snow!
I love how active you and your family stay. I would love to hear how you feel the planks have helped with your running. I do them daily and think they are pretty awesome!
That’s a great question! I’m not running enough to see any benefits to that however, my yoga practice has changed a fair amount. I’m holder harder poses longer (crow, birds of paradise etc.) I think once I get running more, I’ll hopefully see some difference from planking.
I want to know how you ski on your lunch break?? 😂. Great cross training you have happening!
Honestly, it was just the luck of having a meeting near by our local hill before lunch time. I brought my stuff and hit the hill for an hour.
Oh that would be an awesome break!
I have to have variety too! I get so bored if I do the same thing week in, week out!
