Thanks for stopping by my blog. I started this blog back in 2011 to stay accountable to working out and running while my husband was away at Paramedic school. Though that part of our life is completed, I’ve stuck with blogging as it’s something that I enjoy doing.
So, why Piper’s Run? Well, Piper is my nick name I had when working in the Outdoor Education field many years ago. I was actually called Sandpiper but Piper stuck and I still respond to that name if I hear it 🙂
What you’ll find here:
I tend to write about adventures of day to day life with two young girls; training updates, lots of running related post; running struggles because let’s be honest – we all struggle sometimes; vegan and non-vegan recipes; and sometimes product reviews.
Who Am I?
I’m a Mom to two girls and my husband is from England. You can read about how we met here. I run a lot, play summer and winter (indoor) soccer and am a wannabe cyclist. We love to be outdoors. Our girls love being active and we try to do as much as we can as a family.
Running:
I run for fun, I run for my own sanity, I run for my health, I run for my daughters and my husband. I grew up playing competitive soccer, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, canoeing, camping etc. You can check out more of my running stuff here.
I am an ambassador for Nuun, Tiux (ANNASTIUX for 20% off), Active for Life, Sweat Pink and Fit Fluential. Piper’s Run is about me being a Mom, a Wife to a Vegan Paramedic, a physical activity practitioner by day and how I fit in my workouts, running, training and more.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers, Piper (a.k.a. Anna)
